Baptisms and Thanksgivings

Enquiries about Baptisms (Christening), or Thanksgiving services should be made through the Centre Office or directly to the clergy. We generally only deal with enquiries for people living in Temple Hill or The Bridge community of Dartford. If you live in other parts of Dartford we will be able to let you have the contact details of your local church. 

If you want a copy of a baptism certificate we only hold records from October 1999. For anything before that please go to Medway Archives and Local Studies Centre (Civic Centre, Strood, Kent) You can access records on line. Click here. Go to  Dartford:St Edmunds on the list of parishes and then to the relevant volume, by date, and search the records for whatever you need.There are instructions on how to print out the pages.

If you want to enquire about a baptism or thanksgiving for the birth of a child service we run preparation session throughout the year.  These take place on Sunday's at 4pm.

The remaining dates for 2009 are:   20th September, 25th October, 15th November
