Leadership and Vision

St Edmund’s Church is run by a Parochial Church Council (PCC). This group of people are elected each year to help lead the church.

There are 2 churchwardens (currently Laura Lucas and Dennis Shattell) and 15 other members including the Clergy and the Staff Team. 

The PCC meets about 6 times a year. Working with the PCC are 6 Action Teams that look in detail at a number of key areas of church life. (Children and Youth, Finance, Pastoral Care, Worship and Prayer, Mission and Discipleship). These Action Teams report to the PCC.

In November 2008 the new Parochial Church Council (PCC) met to receive a report from a Church Growth conference that some PCC members attended in September. Information about how St Edmund's is responding to this is available on the Vision Express downloads on this page.
