In 1999 Sharon began training as a Reader – she is licensed to lead public worship and preach. You will often find me doing my stuff in all-age services where I’ve built duplo brick houses and seen the one on sandy ground come crashing down, had a magic multiplying machine for harvest, depicted the story of the transfiguration of Christ with Teddy Bears and dressed up as Sully from Monsters Inc. for the children’s Christmas Eve service. I am told that my gift is to be able to portray the Christian message in a fun and interactive way such that it is suited to All Age Worship. Contact Sharon here.

Pam Turley (Pastoral Assistant)
Pam Turley has lived on Temple Hill since 1958. I am married to Mick and have grown up children and grandchildren. I have done numerous jobs. I was a full time nursery nurse, I also worked at Temple Hill school, I have fostered and been a registered child minder to over 30 children . I took early retirement to be a carer for family members. I am a member of Dartford support group for carers of all ages and disabilities. St Edmunds has given the opportunity to ”get to know God " and over the last few years my relationship with God has developed, I have also learnt how to deal with life issues differently . I have a good relationship with the people on Temple Hill , and I am looking forward to my voluntary work at St Edmunds and working in the community that I care about and love .I would like to see more people get to know God and find the inner peace that I have found through Jesus Christ. One of the things I like to do in my spare time is to travel in my caravan with my hubby and my dogs and watch the world go by . Oh and listen to Elvis. I like a game of cards with my family. And I like to swim when I can. I have a sense of humour and if I were a chocolate bar I would be a fruit and nut because I am bit nutty at times but I bear good fruit! Contact Pam here
