St Edmund's values the opportunity retreats and quiet days offer for people to get away and spend some time in silence.

Through the year we run quiet days - or join others taking place locally.

Quiet Days at St Margaret's Darenth. There are regular quiet days at St Margaret's Darenth, and St Edmund's usually take a small group. Donation to cover expenses. Bring your own lunch. Drinks available. Ploughmans may be provided if ordered in advance. £3.50 each. Please ring Jan Dash for details of future quiet days (01322 227153). Julian Prayer Group

For those who would like to explore contemplative prayer, there is a Julian Prayer Group at St Alban's Dartford. Meeting on the 1st Thursday of each month, alternately 10.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. Meeting at St Alban's Vicarage, 51 Watling Street Dartford.
