Worship for All: Celebration Communion Every time we gather for worship, we want everyone to feel welcome and included. Often the worship will have a theme, or tie in with a particular season of the year. Occasionally we will welcome a family for a service of Baptism. Sometimes we worship 'cafe style' - at tables with coffee and doughnuts! Sometimes we are more formal. You never know what it's going to be! Why not try it? Each Sunday we try to make sure that children feel that they can take part with adults in worship. Here we are considering how we are adopted as God's sons - we are all holding our adoption certificates. There is a crèche room available for younger children with nappy changing facilities. We also have booklets to help younger children follow the service. The whole building is accessible to disabled people. 
In our worship we draw on a number of Christian traditions. St. Edmund's has always been a church that has centred it's spiritual life on the Eucharist. Music in worship is a mix of modern and traditional. Vestments are worn and worship material is drawn from the Church of England's Common Worship services, as well as a variety of other sources such as the Iona community. In a setting that is at times both formal and informal we seek to encounter the living God in our worship. 
11.15 a.m. Refreshments at the Community cafe. (Using Fairtade products). During the refreshment time, the computers are available to play go on line, check out the St Edmund's web site Forums or check your email.
