The Living Well: A Healthy Living Centre for Dartford.

 

 The Living Well is about enabling people to deal with life issues; relationships, having a family or bereavement,  to gain confidence by learning basic ITC skills or accessing exercise, providing help to give up smoking, opportunities for volunteering or  advice, information and support to make healthy, positive choices.  All of these can help to achieve good physical and mental health.     

 

As a Healthy Living Centre the Living Well is about just that  - encouraging people to live well!                                                                       

All of us lead busy and often stressful lives, which will directly affect our physical and mental health. Learning how to deal with this in a constructive and positive way can make a real difference to the way we live. The Living Well offers a range of opportunities for people to cope with the lives they lead. Something as simple as lighting a candle and sitting quietly in the chapel may provide some much-needed breathing space. There are also  counselling services, physical exercise classes and group sessions that give people the opportunity to explore life issues.
